Hello members, it's :iconcrowlita:! How are you doing? Hopefully you're doing well.

Anyway, I was browsing Facebook like an average derp, and I found this article about Loki!

moviepilot.com/stories/660357-…

Tom Hiddleston suspects that Loki is going to turn good! :omg:

But if you think about it, he has a point. Loki basically hit rock bottom (no pun intended) during the Avengers, and there's no obvious way he could get any worse. So, he either is going to join the good side or... well I would prefer not to say the alternative.

Also, The Avengers came out on DVD today! :squee: I didn't have the money to preorder sadly, but I hope to get the blu-ray combo pack for Christmas! Is it on your wishlist?

And lastly: :iconofthetriforce: still hasn't been on, so right now the group is at a literal standstill :( Hopefully we get this sorted very soon!

Thank you for reading! :)

That article does have a fair point, I can just see all the comic nerds complaining if Loki were to continue being the insane one bent on world domination. I can't see him ever becoming completely good, but maybe as a sort of anti hero, like Shadow in the Sonic the Hedgehog games. It'll certainly be interesting.

Him being evil forever doesn't sound fun, and he does eventually join the Avengers in the comics, according to some people I've talked to. So, hopefully they'll go the redemption way :)

Yup, to be honest they haven't got much of a choice but to go the redemption route without destroying Loki's character and all the critics saying the film's rubbish. :)

It only came out on DVD today for you guys? I've had mine for weeks.
It would be nice to see Loki redeemed, mostly just so we can have a redeemed villain on film over the course of a "trilogy". I hate it when a villain really has no motivation any more, but nope, got to keep him bad!

Well of course they are introducing Malekith the Accursed in the next movie so maybe he will take Loki's place as main villan and Loki will get some sort of redemption.

I think it would be really interesting if they put Loki in more the position like he is in in the original myths. Not quite good but not quite evil either. So he would keep us guessing. Never knowing if he is trying to help or hinder the Avengers. (or the quote unquote "good guys")

Mythological Loki is more interesting in that sense, his role is mysterious. Sometimes friend or even family and other times an enemy. I love it when modern writers try and put it into a cohesive story, each take is so different.
I think the greatest tragedy would be if film Loki was redeemed and yet still cursed to bring about the ragnarok.

Yes I totally agree with everything!!!

I don't think they are going to bring about Ragnarok any time soon though. They are making way to much money off of this series.
